Portrait

I've been pretty busy with freelance lately. I can't wait to start showing the body of work I've been putting together under the flag of Wizards of the Coast. There's a few pieces I'm kinda proud of.

But as per usual, when I'm finally able to show it, I'll be thinking it's not good enough anymore. I'm already thinking that about my work for them earlier this year. I take this as an EXCELLENT sign. I may have figured out how to completely bypass the dreaded "plateau". (Theories someday to follow)

I'm on a break from freelance for a couple of weeks, and this was what I chose to do with my first night off. Jesus... I have no life.

having no life seems to work perfect for you ;)
do you paint traditionally, in oils, too? I remember you posting some sort of graffiti-character some years back on CA.
I send you an email a few days back, read it yet?

cheers, Darkside

A good sign indeed, I love seeing your constant improvement and refinement. I'm worried about that platau too, but I know its gotta be a long way off as I still don't even have a decent grasp on anatomy!

Anyway, the piece is beautiful, I'm in awe of those skin tones.
